Google tonight quietly released Google Earth for iPad. The 3.0 update is the first version of Earth built for a tablet and has an optimized interface for the iPad's larger screen. All the imagery is now full resolution on Apple's newer device, and elements like in-map photos now appear as popovers that don't disrupt the main view....
